I have 3 cats and a dog, I co-own one German Shepherd who is to compete for a Shutzhund title next year we hope. I am still thinking about adding a bird to my home though I wonder how my cats and the bird would do. I think that the cats would make the bird go bonkers. Though my bedroom and computer room are generally a no cat zone so one of the 2 or both may be a possibility for a bird. I enjoy the outdoors and hiking. I love to catch wildlife on film. I am intrigued by birds of prey and I like most anyone who loves their pets.
And in my "spare time"
Here is the best of the pictures in my opinion, also that cannon is a Napoleon cannon that has only been modified as to how it hitches to the horses. Other than that the Napoleon design has remained the same for centuries.
And just for fun, here is a little something about the unit that I was in.
The gray is of course the Confederates or CSA standing for the
Confederate States of America. I am currently enlisted in the 1st Rockbridge Artillery Battery out of Rockbridge, VA. We are mostly made up of college students and some professors. We also have General Robert E. Lee's son in our unit. It is suprising that General Lee does not give his son any extra benefits
during the war effort.
The uniform of all artillery in both the North and the South have red trim on the collar and the sometimes the sleeves to show that they are in an artillery unit. Many of the Confederates would use the sky blue pants from fallen Yankee soldiers.
