I have chosen the Royal Canadian Goose as the symbol for the Haven. You will see several flying across the Community Center pages to guide you. These beautiful creatures are always in the lead, fly in formation, and stay together in the flock. Should one falter, he is immediately joined by another who pulls away from the flock until the first is strong enough to continue. Canadian Geese mate for life. Should one be felled, it's mate would live a life of solitude. To me, the Canadian Goose represents teamwork and safety in numbers. The birds will protect and help others in their group as we will do in Haven. This is a Community of Help and Protection for everyone who will join us.
